Perfect for the little cozy get away! Absolutely love the little cottage the fit me and my significant other perfectly! We stayed for two nights and had no complaints. The fact that its right off the lake makes it even better! beautiful sun set and sun rise! We will definitely be back. Brittany L What a wonderful experience. The cottages are very nice and clean with a country charm. Everything you could possibly need is provided kitchen supplies, grill and front porch for the kayak and water toys. Very family friendly with plenty to keep the kids happy. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise over Lake Huron, sitting on a well cared for beach. The gracious owners are on site to make sure all your needs are met. So pack your bags and head to Lexington, only a hour drive from Detroit. We can't wait to go back. We used to come here when we were kids, and I was so excited at the opportunity to bring my kids here as well! With so much fun to do for the kids, there was always adventures to be had. Movie under the stars, a wide spread playground with an airplane swing and kid boat to captain on shore! Don’t forget to visit the game room, or yum yum shop as well! The beach was fun and relaxing to swing and watch the sunrise or sunset. Kick back with bbq, a game of outdoor ping pong, and gear up for a campfire with s’mores, while making new friends. We are definitely going to make this another generational family tradition, just minutes from Lexington! Amy R. Luskys was FANTASTIC, My husband and I stayed here for my Birthday and let me just say...RELAXING, PEACEFUL AND COZY! The cottages were cozy, rustic and clean. Our neighbors were fun and friendly. One of our neighbors brought his 9yr old son to Lusky's to give him to same experience he'd had with his dad at Lusky's as a little boy which says a lot for this place and further assured me that I was at the right place. Chriss was very nice and helpful! The only that I didn't like was the fact that I didn't stay a little longer. Narkeia Luskys was FANTASTIC!! We booked Sunday to Thursday it was my wife, son, my dog and myself and we all had a great time. It was super clean, everyone we met (owners included) were very nice. We did leave on Wednesday only cause we had kind of exhausted the things to do in the surrounding areas, this is no slight to Luskys though they were awesome and being able to sit by the water and have my coffee in the morning was great. The cabins are small but very functional all in all we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you Luskys, Tim Strickland Duke & I loved our stay. It was very clean and comfortable. Duke loved the beach and so did I. Hope were welcome back next year. Diane Milhem Cute little cabins on lake Huron. Has all the appliances you would have at home for an extended stay, including cookware. Nice screened in porches. Very kid friendly with play equipment and arcade. Only complaint would be no air conditioning. Jason Dresden We loved our 3 night mini vacation spent at Luskys! The cottage was very clean and the screened in porch with the rocket was amazing. We enjoyed the private beach (our pup enjoyed it the most!), the bonfire pit, ping pong table, basketball court...it was so much fun. Not to mention beautiful and relaxing. Thanks John for all your help! The Worthen's I loved our stay here (end of July)! It was perfect for my 2 year old and re-connecting with her grandfather who lives out of state. I recommend it to all families! We'll be back! Guest cottage 11. Just got back from a three day stay at Lusky's. Some things on the property could be up-dated but we managed to have a good family vacation by the private beach and play area. The cottage was quaint for our short stay. Recommend for a reasonable and quiet get away. I have been coming to Lusky's since I was 18 years old! (OMG! That will be 17 years this year!) My husband proposed to me on that beautiful swing by the lake 11 years ago this August. We went 3 times last year and plan to be there as much as we can this year. Very relaxing and queit. Jenny Marino and family Hello, Lusky's is a great place for kids. It has a swing set, candy shop, arcade, some sports and swimming! It is a great aera too. Has great restraunts around the area too! The water is awsome to, at first it is rocky but then it is great! The parents can relax too. We will be going again in June, with their cousins! My girlfriends and I and our children rented a couple cottages last June and had a great time! The beach was nice, a ten or fifteen foot band of smooth stones, then sandy bottom and crystal clear water. Liked the screened in porch, and evening campfires. We will be back next summer for a full week if the cottages have not already been booked! We love the area, the shopping, golf, city, harbor and beach area. The added bonus is that it is so close to the Detroit Metropolition area. I'm from way up north and I hate the drive. The lodging is quaint and minimalistic, containing just the essentials - which works if you plan to spend most of your time at the lake! For families with young kids, bed/nap times can be challenging with no bedroom doors, thin walls and kids sharing the small spaces available. HOWEVER, this place was perfect for a 2 day getaway! The place was perfect for us & even more so if you have children or grandchildren. As it had several pieces of playground equipment, single hoop 1/2 court basketball area, shuffle board, & an outdoor ping pong table. Also it has two large porch swings on the edge of the property facing Lake Huron, & a community fire pit & a table /sink for cleaning fish & the Beach is for the guests of Lusky's approx 75 yards wide & once you get past the Lake Huron rocks, 1st 10-12 feet [ Eastside shores are known for these ] it was Sand , sand & more sand for 200-250 yards from shore , water depths were waist high to above your head. The Cottage was small & functional & slept 4 comfortably,1 full size bed & 1 full size futon. Fridge, Stove, TV with cable, Shower, Microwave, ceiling fan & table top fan, plus a 5 x 10 screen in porch with a wooden rocker love seat & a table for meals or games. Also each cottage has a picnic table, grill on a 5 X 10 cement pad. NOTE: must bring your own bed linens & towels & the kitchen is stocked well with Dishes/Glasses & grill utensils. Ron C. The site says a 1/4 mile past Fisher rd., I would say put your blinker on once you hit Fisher rd going north. Place was clean and the staff friendly and very helpful. Great atmosphere and service! Tracy Lewis We are on our way home after staying a weekend at Luskys in Lexington. We were celebrating our parent's, who have raised 13 kids, 50th anniversary. They wanted a weekend away with all their kids and grandkids. We looked into several places in MI and Luskys was the only one we are able to find that would allow us to rent the entire resort exclusively for less than a week. The owners were so accommodating. Our group was approx 50 people aged 1-74 years. Babies, toddlers, school aged, pre-teen, teen, young adults, parents and grandparents... And not a single one of us were bored even once. There was so much for EVERYONE today. Games, playing piano, basketball, volleyball, swimming, ping pong, shuffle board, play sets, swings,Bon fire, oh my! In addition we brought some yard games and gloves and balls but there was so much provided we never used them! We did bring and use horseshoes. And one of us enjoyed metal detecting. I believe you can also fish. We did bring a projector and hung a sheet between the cabins, set up a canopy tent, laid out a blanket and the kids LOVED movies at night while the adults enjoyed adult card games and the bonfire. It was truely magical. The cottages are true cottages that take you back in time. They are rustic with modern conveniences. They serve their purpose, a place to drop and sleep after a long day of play! They, are extremely clean and well kept. Bring your suit and water toys (rafts, tubes and bogie boo areas) the water is a blast! Our teens and young adults loved it. Don't forget life jackets for the littles. The rules are clearly posted on the website and in the cabins, as well as articulated at booking. I've read the one negative view and can assure you it is clearly someone who was taking advantage of the owners and other paying guests and didn't like it when it was no longer allowed. If you want to resort for your group exclusively, obviously you have to pay for it, but it is well worth It! Jennifer D. Clio, MI I enjoyed seeing the pictures of your cottages.
